The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) recently awarded Laughing Pony Rescue a grant to fund the training of two ponies – Bonnie and Clyde – that were rescued by the local organization. Bonnie and Clyde’s original owner could no longer afford their care and reached out to Laughing Pony for aid.

Since taking them into their care the organization realized that the duo would need a special skill in order to be considered adoptable. The grant provided by the ASPCA will therefore be used to fund the ponies’ new skill: cart pulling. Training sessions will be open to the public every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. For more information on training sessions contact laughingponyrescue@gmail.com.
