Following an extensive nationwide search, the Rancho Santa Fe School District Governing Board and current Superintendent Lindy Delaney have selected David Jaffe as the finalist for the position of superintendent. David has over 20 years of experience in education. Prior to being chosen as superintendent, he was serving as the principal of Torrey Pines High School. Previously, he served as the founding principal at Canyon Crest Academy, executive director of curriculum and assessment at San Dieguito Union High School District, and principal at Chabad Hebrew Academy. David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA, a master’s degree in education administration from Cal State San Marcos, and a teaching credential from USD. Ratification of David’s employment contract took place in July, and the governing board is looking forward to a successful transition of leadership between Lindy and David.
