Rancho Santa Fe resident Clifford “Cliff” Schireson and Del Mar resident Mel Katz have recently joined The San Diego Foundation’s Board of Governors, starting a two-year term that began in December. Cliff is a retired financial professional, previously serving as board chair for the La Jolla Music Society and as a board member of the San Diego Human Dignity Foundation. He also works as an alumni relations and fundraising volunteer for Stanford University, where he has earned much recognition for his service, including the Governor’s Award.

“We are honored to have these two industry leaders join The San Diego Foundation Board of Governors,” shared Kathlyn Mead, President and CEO of The San Diego Foundation. “Mel Katz and Cliff Schireson bring a wealth of expertise and guidance to The San Diego Foundation and will help us grow our positive impact in the community through increased charitable giving.” For more information go to www.sdfoundation.org.
