A Look at 92067’s Real Estate Numbers

The figures are in for January, and the numbers remain mixed for home sales in 92067. A quick comparison to the same time period last year shows some minor fluctuations.

92067 experienced an increase of new listings hitting the market in January with a total of 61 new single family home listings, compared to 51 new listings in January 2017 (an increase of 19%). However, the total inventory of single family homes for sale was down 25% with 153 homes available for purchase (versus 206 during the same period last year).

The average number of days that homes were on the market during January was 85 days (compared to 114 days in January 2017). The 25% faster selling time is consistent with the drop in inventory supply, but this market time varies greatly month after month in 92067.

As we all know, the values of homes in 92067 can have huge fluctuations due to the wide range of selling prices. The values of recent homes sold are up compared to January of last year. The median sales price of a 92067 single family home during the month of January was $2,775,000 (compared to last January’s $1,622,500 median price), but we must exercise caution when evaluating this comparison.
